New employee absconds with funds now wants uif

I hired a temp for April. She stole money from the company and absconded. Off course she was no longer welcome to return. Now she wants UIF for that month.
What are my rights as i didnt register her for April.

Unfortunately even if an employee has absconded and has stlen money you cannot use that as an excuse as to why that person wasn't registered. It is suggested that you resgister retrospectively.

Tell her to come and collect it at the office at a appointed time and then you have the SAPS there to arrest her for theft
