Natal sore on my arm

Hello Doc
Two days ago I took a sore on my inner forearm that was itchy and sore to a GP who diagnosed a Natal sore. I am now taking penicillin orally, and using a dab of cream he gave me in his office on the sore twice a day, and wiping a little Fucidin cream inside my nose twice a day. How long should it take to see a change in the size of the sore, and is it possible to have only one? I had many all over me when I was about 10.
Thanks a lot!
