Our expert says:
According to Prof Tim Noakes in his book 'Lore of Running', an adult female athlete weighing 52 kg would have a muscle mass of 15,4 or 29,6%. The same adult female athlete would have a fat mass of 5,2 kg or 10%. He does not mention %bone. You could phone one of the Radiology firms who do bone scans to find out what the normal % of bone is in women aged 37 years. Usually bone density and not actual bone mass or % bone is measured to check if a woman is developing osteoporosis or brittle bones.
