Multiples

What happens with the other follicles after the dominant follicle ruptured? Is there a chance that other follicles will rupture and releas an egg as well? I was on Femara for 5 days and had 4 follicles on each ovary one ovarys follicles where almost all the same size.

Multi-ovulation with Femara is not uncommon and several follicles may rapture and release the eggs over a 24-48 hour time span. However, follicles must have attained a size of at least 17mm to be able to do this.
