Mirena &  pregnancy

Hi doc, I had Mirena inserted about 19 months ago, after my son was born. I still menstruate regularly, although it is not as heavy as it used to be before. I am happy to still go through my cycle, but what are the chances of me falling pregnant? And what may be the risks to the pregnancy if this does happen? Thanks.

The chances of pregnancy are about 1 in a 1000. If this occurred there would be a higher risk of miscarriage.
