Hope this works well for me too, had mine removed on 02/09. Doc said 6 weeks b4 conception, since lining of womb needs to thicken. Already had first period immediately after removing mirena.

Yes it is, we had intercourse two days before having the Mirena removed and I never started a period even after using alternative protection. I did a pregnancy test a few weeks later and found out I was pregnant. Worked out according to the scan and baby was conceived at the time the Mirena was removed.
