Mirena

Good day Doctor,

I have had the Mirena for three months now, its eventually settling down, and any form of contraception/medication was so much better than my own cycle.

My only concern about the Mirena is that several gynae's have told me its better to have it after kids as it can cause miscarriages in the future if one still needs to begin family planning?

I am so concerned now, as I have just had this costly exercise done, it definately works but I dont want to jeopardise my family planning for the future?

Please help, and many thanks for your reply.

Best wishes

Lyndall
