Dear Anonymous
A 300 ml glass of low-fat milk (2% fat content) contains 366 mg of calcium or 24,4% of the daily recommended intake of calcium of 1500 mg/day during pregnancy and lactation. Having 3 glasses a day will therefore provide nearly 80% of your calcium requirement. You can take most calcium supplements provided you also expose your skin to the sun for about 20 min a day so that your body can produce its own vitamin D and if you eat plenty of fresh leafy vegetables to provide vitamin K2.
