Microwave VS Stove

Hi there, I am wanting to know whether there is a difference when warming milk (2% or full cream) on the stove or in the microwave to be used in cereal? Both stove and microwave make it hot so does it really matter which one uses???
Thanks,S

Dear Summer
Heat treatment, no matter if you use the stove or microwave, can reduce certain vitamins such as Vit C, but as milk does not contain more than a trace of this vitamin, you can select either method. This type of heat treatment should not affect the other nutrients such as protein, B vitamins and calcium, that are found in milk.
