Menopause

A relative of mine is going through menopause at the moment. She is 71 years old and had a hysterectomy more than 35 years ago. She is experiencing hot flushes on the top part of her body while her knees and feet are ice cold. How can we help her and what can she use?

She should have a full assessment by a gynaecologist. HRT is an option, but her medical history would have to be taken into account.

Best wishes
