Menopause

I had a complete historectomy 5 years ago. I am 54 years old. I have used HRT for 4 years and stopped because of thromboses. My doctor said there is no HRT available for women with a history of thromboses and therefore I cannot use HRT. I suffer a lot from hot flushes etc. What can you recommend? My life is hell.
