Medication

I injured my shoulder recently and I am experiencing terrible pain!
Sonar &  Xrays have been taken and the Dr says I have sprained a tendon (tendonitis) He prescribed Celebrex 200mg and Painamol Plus every 6/8 hrs if necessary?
I am doing some excersises but it is very paiful!
Can I drink Celebrex on a long term basis cause they give me great relieve!
