Measles

Doc,
I visited a friend whose kid got measles about 10 days ago. She said the child is better. For how long is measles contagious? Am I at risk? Thanks I am worried

Measles is highly contagious and spreads by droplets in the air. A person with measles is contagious from about 3 days before symptoms start until about 4 days after the rash appears.
