maternity leave

My full-time domestic worker of 10 years if pregnant. Do I have to pay her a full salary once she takes maternity leave...before the birth?
Do I have to pay her a full salary after the child is born and while she is still on leave for a few months?
Your reply would be much appreciated as I would like to do the correct thing.
Thanks

RE: MATERNITY LEAVE

You don't need to pay salary once she takes maternity leave. I presume you have registered her with the Department of Labour.
