Male hair loss

Are there any products (that don' t cost an arm and a leg) that can help me restore hair growth? So many products on the market, not sure which ones work and which ones are gimmicks.

Dear Zeus
The only ones that work is Propecia and Minoxidil - and only for as long as you use it, and it is expensive. A treament for prostate hyperplasia called Proscar contains the same ingredients as Propecia and may work out cheaper (you have to break the tablet and take 1/4) If you are serious about getting your head of hair back, do consider a hair transplant ( they cut out a thin slice of scalp at the back and use these healthy hair to transplant onto the bald patch) These hair do not fall out again as they are not as hormone sensitive as the ones on the bald area. It is done under local anaesthetic, is expensive - but only once off - and is a bit painful after the procedure for a few days. However, most men feel that it is worth the pain and the money longterm! See
