Please be so kind as to provide me with more information. The malaria parasite does in fact cause haemolosis of red blood cells and in case of a severe anemia, a blood transfusion can be indicated. Severe complications must be treated under ICU conditions by a specialist. The treatment of severe malaria is a supportive measurement and will depend on the patient's haemaglobin count.
