Maintenance - Maximum age

My son is 20 years old. I''m currently still paying maintenance and he is currently doing his final year at varisty. He works part-time. What is the max age to stop paying ? Can I stop paying maintenance when he turns 21 years in Jan 2014 ? what if he does not find a permanent employment i.e. maybe within the next 5 years ..etc ...

Hi Anon2013,

Meaning he could be 30 years old without employment/job and I could be paying maintenance ?

think the law states that maintenance must be paid until such time when he child is self sufficient and not age  thus working and earning a salary.

Good luck
