Lupus &  rheumatoid arthritis

My husband was diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis 6 months ago. He is currently on Nivaquine and 2 prednisone tablets daily. Is it safe for us to conceive a baby while he is on the medication?

Dear NC
I am not certain about this and the best person to ask would be the doctor who treats his lupus. Some medications do have negative effects on the sperm, but i'm not sure about the ones he takes.
