Lumps in arm

I have had numerous operations and biopsy' s done on my breasts to cut out lumps. So far I have been lucky with no breast cancer. My dad is dying of prostate cancer at the moment. My grandfather had cancer as well. I am worried because I discovered a lump on my arm with a slightly bruising around it. I did not bump my arm at all. I have ignored it, but now discovered that I have got 3 lumps on my arm. My arm also feels sore by the bone just under my elbow. Not all the time. I do take a dispirin each morning to prevent clotting, but am worried as to what these lumps can be. Do you think I should have a biopsy done on them as well? They all seem to have a bit of bruising around them, but I have not bumped my arm. Please advise.

Hallo Priscilla
Not all lumps need to be biopsied or cut out. Breasts can be monitored by sonar and mammograms. The lump on your arm could be a harmless lipoma, just let your doctor have a look. One can usually see whether something is cancerous or not by examining the lump.
