Lower Back Pain

I am suffering from severe lower back pains. On the left hand side lower back, I have a sharp pain that sometimes shoot down to my legs. The pain is constant when I bend, lie down, make any movements. The doc advised me it is a pinched nerve gave me anti-inflammatory' s, but the pain is still there. What would you advise?

Consult a chiropractor as soon as possible. Medication alone will not correct an obvious mechanical derangement of the lower spine.
