Our expert says:
The pain may well be non-gynaecological and there are several possibilities which include orthopedic, urological and surgical causes. Commonly nerve compression is the cause and may require orthopedic evaluation. The gynaecological reason may be intermittent twisting or pulling of the ovary and its ligament which typically cause pain down the thigh. The laparoscope would have excluded endometriosis which is a major concern in your situation.
