Low Placenta?

Can you please explain to me what it means if your placenta is not high up in the uterus and it is lying over the cervix? What can be done? and will this cause problems even if I have a c- section?

Hallo Sia
If the placenta is lying low down over the cervix, one would prefer to do an elective c/section. It is called "Placenta previa". The risk is bleeding during pregnancy and during the birthing process. Read up about it so that you are prepared for symptoms and know what to do if you start bleeding.
