Loose skin after weight loss

Can anything be done to help reduce the flabby " papsak"  effect after losing weight. You know, all the loose skin around the stomach area that looks almost worse than before you started losing weight. Can elasticity ever be regained by skin that''s been stretched from being overweight for too long

Dear DBH
According to speakers at the First Obesity conference held in SA in 2004, the only solution to extremely large areas of sagging skin after massive weightloss is to consult a plastic surgeon who will explain the various options. The results of the various procedures that were shown at the Congress were most impressive. So there is a solution and plastic surgery is making great strides all the time.

Thanks. But what about smaller amonts of skin. The total amount of weight lost is 17kg. I''ve seen contestants on Biggest Loser loose much more than with little sagging skin
