Long Periods

Hi, I am 33yrs. I have been to my gynae 2yrs ago and was advised that I have a 3cm fibroid in my uterus.I was advised to wait as it might shrink or move out as she did not want to operate then. For the last 2months I am getting my period and it last for abt 5days and then repeats after every 2days.I am not on any pill, no kids, not sexually active. Is this due to the fibroid? what are the dangers? What can be done?

It could be due to the fibroid. You should see your gynaecologist again.

Best wishes
