Good morning,

I hope I spelt it correct. For something sweet, is liquorice a good option for sweets?

Have a lovely day...

Dear Anette
The SA Food Tables list Liquorice AllSorts as having an energy value of 1333 kJ per 100g, which is moderate when compared to sweets like hard boiled or jelly-type which contain 1545 kJ per 100g and milk chocolate which contains 2241 kJ/100g. However, all foods when eaten in excess will cause weight gain, so have small portions and not every day.
