Lighter but longer periods

Chronic pelvic pain. Gynae has no clue. Periods getting much lighter over the past months, but also longer - now 9 days instead of 7-8. Bleeding stops by day 5, but brown discharge for last 4 days. 35 yrs. 2 children both natural birth. 2 x D& C''s. Placenta accreta history. Pelvic infection history.

It sounds like a hormonal problem with irregular shedding of the endometrium, or adhesions from the placenta accreta. A hysteroscopy may help to make a diagnosis.
