light duty after injury on duty

Dr,
recover from a fracture of L foot - injury occured on 31/3 back at work since 14/4 (light duty) - is light duty less hours or less movement, in my office I have to walk nearly all day , my foot is swollen within an hour from starting to work and by day end I am in extreme pain please advice me thank you

Light duty is less strenuous work. Consult your orthopaedic surgeon for a foot brace and crutches, in order to restrict movement to your ankle and foot for at lease a month.
