leg cramps in my son aged 14

My son is a very active boy doing soccer and cricket. Whenever he trains or plays a game then his leg muscles tend to cramp. I just need to know what I can use to prevent this in future.

He should be well hydrated, especially after exercise and isotonic drink should be taken during and after exercise. Add fruit to his diet, especially banana. Banana is rich in micro-elements, for instance potassium and magnesium.
