Dear Gemgirl
Cramps can be caused by low Calcium or magnesium levels, overexertion of the muscles like standing with high heels the whole day, dehydration and certain medications. Stretching, heat, taking Calcium supplements and exercise may help but if it persists, you may need to ask your doctor to do some blood tests
