Leave

My maid did not piched up for work and could not furnish me with a certificate that he / she was sick. Must I pay him / her its salary? He / she informed that she is not coming back to work as I insisted on a medical certificate. It is now more than 2 months. Your advice please.

RE: LEAVE

"My maid did not pitch up to work"

If someone does not come to work and is off for more than 2 days you can insist on a Medical Certificate and you do not need to pay unless the certificate is valid.
