Laxatives when breastfeeding?

I had a very complicated birth 2 months ago and have been constipated ever since. My pharmacist put me onto Agiolax and it has helped. He said that it was perfectly safe and it was all natural. Is it ok for me to be using Agiolax while breastfeeding. I did not think that I would be needing " help"  for so long.

Small amounts do get into the breast milk, but don't usually affect the baby. If you are still having problems related to the birth, you should see your doctor.
