Late period = Pregnant?

Dear Doc. I am 33 years old and have been trying to fall pregnant for more than a year now. My husband and I never used contraception but used a condom before we decided to start a family. I had a miscarriage a few years ago, at 3 months, but hadn''t tried again until last year March. For the last year, my periods had been quite regular, in that each month I would start my menses on either the 10th or 11th of the month, never later, sometimes 1 day earlier. However, i March this year my cycle changed and I had my period on 15 March - before that it started 11 February. In April I got it on the 14th. It is now 23 May, and I still had not gotten my period this month, but I do have all the symptoms - sever cramps, bloating, back-ache. Please tell me, could I be pregnant? I am so scared of using a pregnancy test, just in case it''s negative - again!

It certainly sounds like a possibility. Do the test.
