Late period

Hi there,my girfriend and i arent sexually active in the sense that we dont have sex,but we do touch etc,we are zealous in making sure we clean our hands and are careful when we explore each other. The problem is her period is late by a month and a bit, shes been on diane contraceptive and has recently switched to a different pill now,she also has had some serious exams at school where she was stressed out.Im hoping her history of late periods is all that it is,we decided to wait out this week to see what happens and if it doesnt come to get a preg test. Can periods be a month late?are we stressing for nothing?

Pregnancy would be very unlikely from what you have described, especially since she is also on the
pill. The change in Pill could have affected her cycle.

Best wishes

Periods can come months late if she has Polysistic Ovarian Syndrome for example... It can also be her body adjusting to thenew pill she switched to, can take a month or two to regulate again..
