Good day
Just wondering IF there are medicine on the market that can actually induce labour? If so what are they? When does dr' s usually prescribe them?

Regards

Hi Gen

Yes, there are. Prostaglandins or Oxytocin are often used. Induction of labour is the artificial starting of labour should it fail to start naturally, or your doctor decides that you need to deliver the baby early when it is felt that your or your baby's health is likely to benefit.
