I am 49 years old, female and a radiographer from SA but now in NZ . I started doing mammography 6 months ago and within 2 months both my knees were in such a state that I could not get out of my car. After a MRi and right knee x-rays it showed that the disk space between my femur and Tibia is very narrow. Medial side then. Sometimes after a long sit I can not walk proper, woke up during nights with pain medial side. I can not walk fast, bend my knees proper etc. The specialist her in Auckland said a knee replacement is the answer but I am too young. Is there not any other treatment, operations etc. which can be doen to help me to make better use of my knees as a Radiographer. After 2 years in NZ I still do not trust the doctors here like in SA. Please give me some feedback. Thanx

Eerstens BAIE DANKIE. Ek probeer sover as moontlik te gaan sonder pynmedikasie. Verder neem ek net Vit B Complex en Immune Formule van Foodstate.
