Klierkoors and 20 weeks pregnant

My daughter is 20 weeks pregnant and the doctor says she has clantfever (Klierkoors). Her face in the neck area is all swollen and is exstremely sore. Any advice. The doctor gave her medication but did not book her off from work? Please help???

Glandular fever is most unlikely to cause any problems to the baby as long as she does not have a very high fever.
