Kidney machine

Hi there doc.. 1) Which parts of dialysis machine preform the same basic fuction as the following: a) inner lining of the bowman''s capsule and glumerulus? b) blood plasma? c) blood vessels and heart? 2) What process causes excess water from the patient to pass into the dialysing fluid, why does this happend? 3) What excretory product other than water, which will pass out of the blood into the dialysing fluid? What is the process by which this accurs? 4) Why is this important that in reality the dialysing machine is greatly folded rather than straight? 5) Why does urea pass through the dialysis membrane but glucose and mineral salts do not? 6) Why must dialysis fluid be sterile and replaced continually? 7) Why in the case of permanent kidney failure, it is more economical and more satisfactory for a patient to be given a kidney transplant rather than treatment with a kidney machine?? Doc can you please help me with this? it is for a school project?
