Without any pathological findings, like kidney stones or chronic infection, a slightly dialated calyx is nothing to be concerned about. The ultrasound will definately have picked up a form of pathology that might be the cause. This is most probably a incidental finding and should be seen in the light of your symptoms and the reason you had the ultrasound in the first place.
