joint problem

I found a strange hard " lump"  on my finger joint (in crease between ringfinger and palm) it seems loose from the joint about the size of a small pea, not growing or shrinking, and painfull when squeezed. A little while ago my one foot felt painfull when walking barefoot on tiles and with some prodding found a similar lump under my second toe. Who do I see about this, a orthopedic doctor or rheumatologist? Any ideas what it could be?

Hallo Carools
This could be the start of a condition called Dupuytrens contracture - let your GP first have a look but my guess is the orthopedic specialist may be the one to see - try to find one who superspecializes in hands
