jelly stool

i have an old terrier dog, she is 13. she is on heart tablets that the vet gave her, but she never has coughed. she has been on these pills for long now and i noticed that she has made some stools that have jelly like at the end. not runny tummy, just a bit of jelly. should she see the vet? she looks normal and happy, not unwell.

Dear Anon

The stool gets covered in mucus if the rate of movement slows down with age, usually nothing to worry about, some protexin may help a bit.
