Is it true that during one' s period the risk of getting pregnant is very high?

Dear Curious

This is an absolute fallacy in that the fertile window period is related to ovulation and not menstruation. Ovulation normally occurs between Day 12 and16 of the cycle and more precisely Day 14 if the cycle is a regular 28-Day cycle.

No its not true. When you ovulate that is the time you most likely to fall pregnant. PS Pregnancy is not a risk. There are women that would give up everything to fall pregnant. If u dnt want to use contraceptives.
