Dear Steve
Adult men between the ages of 19 and 50 are supposed to ingest 2 900 kcal or 12 200 kJ, approx. 81 g of fat and 300 mg of cholesterol per day if they are not trying to lose weight and are moderately active. To lose weight adult men should reduce their energy intake to 2 400 kcal or 10 100 kJ, and their fat intake to between 65 and 40 g. The recommendation for cholesterol intake remains unchanged.
