Insomnia

My husband is a full-time student (Theology) and suffers from insomnia. He has a lot of studying, assignments and reading up to do and do not get enough rest. He really struggles to fall asleep and wake up in the morning tired, miserable and irritated. Is there something non-addictive that he can use to help him?

not in terms of medication. However, he needs to give himself enough time to relax after he stops studying in the evening - 60 to 90 minutes to just spend doing non-work things, before getting into bed. If that doesnt do it, a visit to a sleep doctor would be a good idea.
