Inguinal Hernia &  Pregnancy

3 years ago, i tore a stomach muscle in my left groin, and had to have surgery to put a mesh in to repair this before it became a hernia (the surgery was the same they do for a hernia). I can now feel a small inguinal hernia on the other side when I cough and put my hand there. Is this dangerous if I get pregnant (which my husband and i are trying to do at the moment) - I want to have natural birth.
