Infections

Dear Doc
For about the past 4 months I have had about 4 different vaginal infections - Klebsiella pneumonia, now Proteus Mirabilis to name two. Why am i getting all these infections? Is there any kind of test i can do to find out? Many thanks.

You may have a condition called bacterila vaginosis where the protective bacteria in the vagina are depleted. You can try douching with yoghurt, but it has to be the type wth live cultures.

Best wishes
