Immunization for german measels

I am 37 years old. I recently went to the Gynae and he told me I am not immune to German measels. What does this mean? I know when I was about 7 years old I had German Measels. Can you get it again? What is the immunization and where do I get it from?

Hallo Megan
You can get a vaccination at any travel clinic. Why did he test for it, are you planning to become pregnant? German measles is dangerous in pregnancy, so if you don't have antibodies against it, it is better to get vaccinated.
