IBS

Hi Doc,

I was diagnosed with IBS last year, the problem is that I don''t know what to take to make it get better. It comes and goes and now my stomach is painful again. I have cut a lot of foods and even changed jobs but now I feel like I am not doing something write again.

I am not a doctors'' fan so I''d rather get something over the counter that will help with the cramps and bloateness.

And, what are the major day to day foods that could help as well?

Hi N

Apart from diet (here's a link to some advice: http://bit.ly/o7d1iX ) you can also get BEVISPAS tablets over-the-counter from your local pharmacy. It is specifically indicated for IBS and will help a lot in reducing the symptoms. Combining it with the somewhat costly LP299V (probiotic capsules) may ease symptoms even more.
