Question

I want to stop sneezing!

The sun makes me sneeze.

It happens almost every time I go outside. I open the door, the sunlight hits my face, and a violent sneeze erupts. Usually followed by two or three aftershocks.

Is there any way to control it without becoming nocturnal? It' s quite embarrassing, and is certainly a safety risk when I' m driving.

Hallo Vent 123
This is called a photic sneeze reflex and is common in about 15-30% of people. Taking antihistamines like Clarityne at night may be helpful to prevent the sneezing.
