If you are frequently or almost always waking tired, despite 8 hours or so in bed, it means that the quality of your sleep is not adequate. The way to work out what is going on is to get referred to a sleep doctor, who will examine you, and then get a test in a laboratory which looks at what is going on during your sleep. Pretty much all the conditions are treatable - there should not be a reason to walk around like a zombie after that many hours sleep.
