Hysteroscopy

HI
I fell pregnant thought an IUCD (mirena) has a miscarriage at 5½  months now i have to have a Hysteroscopy to see how they are going to take out the mirena as it has moved completely into my womb ( strings and all). My question is what does this procedure entail and what can they do to remove the IUCD?

It involves putting a little telescope into the uterus to see exactrly where the Mirena is. Hoperfully it will be possible to remove it through the telescope.

Best wishes
